Honey and Lime Jalapeno Chicken

Quick
and easy sauteed chicken in a tasty honey and lime jalapeno sauce!
ingredients

1 tablespoon oil
·
1 pound chicken,
boneless and skinless, diced
·
2 jalapenos, sliced or
diced
·
1/2 cup chicken broth
·
3 tablespoons honey
·
3 tablespoons lime juice
·
2 tablespoons soy sauce
(or tamari for gluten-free)
·
1 clove garlic, grated
·
1 teaspoon ginger,
grated
·
1 tablespoon water
·
1 tablespoon cornstarch
·
2 teaspoons sesame oil
·
2 tablespoons cilantro,
chopped
·
1/4 cup green onion,
sliced
·
1 teaspoon toasted
sesame seeds
directions
1.
Heat the oil in a pan
over medium-high heat, add the chicken and cook until cooked through, about 2-4
minutes per side, before adding the jalapeno and cooking for another minute..

Add the mixture of the
broth, honey, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and the mixture of the
water and the corn starch, toss to coat and cook until the sauce thickens,
about a minute.
3.
Mix in the sesame oil
and cilantro, remove from heat and serve garnished with sliced green onions and
sesame seeds.
